How did I pass GCP Professional Cloud Architect

I passed GCP Professional Cloud Architect exam.
Actually I haven’t touched Cloud services at work. But Cloud service’s knowledge and experiences are required to proceed my career as Web application engineer and develop my web applications I think. I have around 9 years experiences as Web application engineer, so Professional Cloud Architect exam is my first Google Cloud Certified exam but I thought I can pass somehow. I spent around 1.5 months for study. Mainly I used Qwiklabs . Qwiklabs provides hands-on E-learning courses. So, it’s easy to understand for me. I’ll share how did I study for Professional Cloud Architect for note to self and who is thinking to try to challenge GCP Professional Cloud Architect exam. The followings are what I did.
  1. A GCP book (I red a Japanese book. So, I don’t share sorry. Please search an entry level book.)
  2. Qwiklabs “Baseline: Infrastructure
  3. Qwiklabs “Cloud Architecture
  4. Qwiklabs “Cloud Architecture: Design, Implement, and Manage” (Previously “Challenge: GCP Architecture”)
  5. Cousera course “Preparing for the Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect Exam
  6. Professional Cloud Architect’s mock test
  7. Google Cloud Document “Using Apache Spark DStreams with Dataproc and Pub/Sub
  8. Qwiklabs “BigQuery: Qwik Start – Console
  9. Qwiklabs “ETL Processing on Google Cloud Using Dataflow and BigQuery
  10. Qwiklabs “Bigtable: Qwik Start – Command Line
  11. Qwiklabs “Cloud Spanner: Qwik Start
  12. Qwiklabs “Terraform Fundamentals
  13. Qwiklabs “Firebase SDK for Cloud Functions
  14. Qwiklabs “Security & Identity Fundamentals
  15. PProfessional Cloud Architect’s mock test
Qwiklabs “Cloud Architecture: Design, Implement, and Manage” was difficult for me and I got stuck sometimes. I googled blog articles and proceeded. I felt Cousera course “Preparing for the Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect Exam” is very old and first half was focusing on mindset. So, I was trying to quit but practice problems and mock test (it’s different from official mock test) were very good. No. 7 ~ 13 (Dataproc/PubSub/BigQuery/Dataflow/Bigtable/CloudSpanner/Terraform/Firebase/セキュリティ) are to study functions which No. 1 ~ 6 don’t taught me much but they are in mock test or No. 1 ~ 6.
After passing the exam I could get GCP stuff. I chose this parker. I hope this article helps who is thinking to try GCP Professional Cloud Architect exam.
